Install Kali Net Hunter in Any Android Device 2020

 


Kali NetHunter is an Android ROM overlay that incorporates a solid Mobile  Pentesting Platform.

Overlay includes a custom kernel, Kali Linux chroot, and an Android compatible operating system, which allows easy communication with various security and attack tools.

In addition to Kali Linux logging tools, NetHunter also supports many additional classes, such as HID Keyboard Attacks, BadUSB attacks, Evil AP MANA attacks, and much more.

The embedded NetHunter Store client provides access to a wide variety of security-related applications.

Prepare your phone ahead of time

Before you can download and install Kali NetHunter on your Android device, it must be rooted in a program similar to SuperSu. You should also install the BusyBox app from the Google Play Store. You should also have more free storage on your available Android device. Finally, custom ROMs are similar to CM12. The CM12.1, and the CM13 are good ones that you're ready to go with, but you don't have to.

How to install Kali NetHunter

Once your phone is ready, go to the Offensive Security website and download the Kali NetHunter ROM version that is compatible with your Android version on your device.

DOWNLOAD KALI NETHUNTER

When you are done, you should Extract the download  Zip file. Then go to /data/app and install the existing applications in that folder individually.

Then open your favorite root scan app, and go to /data/data/com.offsec.nethunter/files/scripts.

Copy all files and paste in /system/bin (Note: If you do not see a folder or content in files/scripts, open the NetHunter app and close it and check again)

Open the Nethunter App and go to the Kali Chroot manager and install "Minimal Chroot". You can also select "Full Chroot" but this is not recommended.

Open Terminal Emulator or nh-terminal and select "KALI". This will open the Kali shell. You may be asked to grant root permission.

Run the following commands on each terminal: get updates, get upgraded, get upgraded, get install linux-nethunter

TWRP users:

Download the perfect Kali Nethunter zip for your device and kernel version from our download list below this guide.

Save the .zip to the SD card of your device.

Launch TWRP recovery, then tap Install, select the zip file, and swipe to flash it.

Restart normally.

Non-TWRP Users:

Download the appropriate Kali Nethunter zip depending on your device and kernel type.

Download and install the FlashFire app from Google Play or another APK app.

Launch FlashFire, and grant it root permissions.

Tap the merge icon and select “Flash ZIP or OTA”.

Tap the drag arrow, then select "Filesystem Root".

Next tap “Mnt”, then “SDCard2 / SDCard”, then select the .zip file.

Now check both dialog boxes and tap the marker.

In the main FlashFire menu, scroll down and tap the Flash button - do not pollute any other settings other than the one listed here.

Most private OS for mobile phones

Once the zip file has been downloaded, verify the SHA1 amount of the NetHunter zip image by comparing the values ​​on the Offensive Security NetHunter download page If the SHA1 stats are different, do not attempt to proceed with the installation process.

SHA256 stats for each file can be found in the SHA256SUMS file at the top of each download page. You can also enable zip signature confirmation before flashing and TWRP will verify the entire zip before installing it.

For new entries, you will need nethunter-generic- [arch] -kalifs - *. Zip and kernel-nethunter- [device] - [os] - *. Zip. The kernel should be turned on at the end. Update-nethunter-generic- [arch] - *. Zip files are designed to update your installation or if you wish to download Kali root within the NetHunter app instead.

Tips

  • Launch the appropriate update && apt-full-upgrade the first item after installation. If you have more storage space you can use you may want to use the apt install kali-linux-full again.
  • Firefox will not work on rooted devices. Just replace it with Chromium by: apt remove firefox-esr apt install chromium Next: ~ Find the "Chromium Web Browser" item in the app menu ~ right-click and select "Edit application" ~ Change “Command” for /usr/bin/chromium - no sandbox% U
  • All login testing tools should work but some may have limitations, e.g. metasploit is active but has no database support. If you find any tools that do not work, please submit them to our forums.
  • Some apps like "top" will not work on rooted phones.
  • Non-root users still have root access to chroot. That is something to be proud of. Just know that.
  • Galaxy phone's can prevent non-rooted users from using Sudo. Just use “su -c” instead.
  • Make regular backups of your roots by stopping all nethunter sessions and typing the following in the termux session: tar -cJf kali-arm64.tar.xz kali-arm64 && mv kali-arm64.tar.xz storage /downloads That will put the backup in the folder your Android download. Note: for older devices, switch "arm64" to "armhf"
